Congenital Kyphoscoliosis - Detethering followed by Growth Rod Distraction This 6 year old boy presented to us with deformity back since birth. He had history of spine surgery of back at birth to close myelomeningocoele . His Xray showed severe kyphoscoliosis of back. MRI showed low lying tethered Spinal cord . At first stage he underwent Detethering . After 1 month he underwent second stage surgery with growth rod application and partial correction under Neuromonitoring. He will be followed up every 6 month for growth rod distraction
