Minimally Invasive Spine Fracture Fixation A 40 year old female had a road traffic accident leading to Burst fracture L1. She had severe pain in back and was not able to move out of Bed. Her MRI showed Burst fracture of L1 vertebrae with Disrupted Posterior Ligaments. She was advised two treatment option - either complete Bed rest for 6 weeks or MIS fracture fixation and mobilisation from next day. Patient opted for fracture fixation and was operated upon. @ days after surgery she was mobilised with support and discharged. Dr Pramod saini is Spine Surgeon at Jaypee Hospital in Noida.
